Petrolodex Opens Hamriyah Hub with Terminal Storage and Direct NOC Supply

Petrolodex launches its Hamriyah Hub in Sharjah, offering terminal storage, road tanker delivery and direct UAE NOC fuel supply for industry and regional trade.

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Sharjah facility pairs dedicated tank storage and a road tanker fleet with direct refinery allocations from UAE national oil companies, giving Northern Emirates industry refinery grade product without import transit or customs duty.

Petrolodex, a United Arab Emirates petroleum and chemical trading company, today announced the operational launch of its licensed facility in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The hub combines a commercial trading desk with dedicated terminal storage and sources gasoil, gasoline and fuel oils directly from UAE national oil company refinery gantries. It supplies industrial end users, manufacturing plants, transport fleets, power stations and marine bunkering operators across Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

The launch follows two milestones completed this year: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for Petrolodex operating entities by Veritas Assurance, and corporate membership in the International Chamber of Commerce UAE, effective August 17, 2026.

Physical Assets, Not Paper Trading
The Hamriyah entity is licensed by the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority as a fully operational trading and handling base. It pairs a commercial sales desk with dedicated liquid storage tanks, pressurized LPG bullet tanks, and a fleet of 12,000 Imperial Gallon bottom loading road tankers and gas carriers. Storage runs active Vapour Recovery Units under ISO 14001, and pressurized vessels undergo automated leak monitoring and hydrostatic valve testing under ISO 45001.

For 10ppm gasoil and refined fuels, the desk offers domestic buyers and regional off takers two delivery structures:

Ex-Tank (FCA Terminal). Buyers using their own transport lift directly at the terminal manifold. Risk transfers at the loading arm flange, and pricing is based on product and throughput alone.

Ex-Gate (Cleared Exit). Petrolodex manages terminal metering, gantry slots, customs documentation, port gate passes and delivery notes. Risk transfers once the loaded tanker clears the barrier gate.

Direct National Oil Company Supply
The operation sources directly from UAE national oil companies, including ADNOC, ENOC and SNOC. Direct refinery allocations and local gantry lifting rights remove import transit time, insulate buyers from freight volatility and establish product provenance. Every dispatch carries an official Refinery Certificate of Quality, confirming compliance with industrial burner, commercial transport and low emission engine specifications.

Because local NOC lifting sits inside domestic UAE tax and customs frameworks, dispatches fall outside the standard 5 percent import tariff, and Petrolodex passes that saving to UAE end users under its True Landed Cost pricing floors. The model also supports the National In Country Value programme governed by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, strengthening the company's ICV score for partners bidding into state energy tenders.

Fuel oils. VLSFO 0.5 percent sulphur for IMO 2020 compliant bunkering, and HSFO 180 CST and 380 CST for asphalt plants and industrial burners.

Bitumen. Paving grades 60/70 and 80/100 plus cutback grades, in bulk tankers, flexibags, drums and jumbo bags.

Chemicals and additives. DEF, Urea N46 percent, naphtha, petroleum coke and specialist solvent streams.

Two Desks, One Standard
Local distribution desk. Serves UAE buyers in AED per Imperial Gallon or metric tonne, with 24 to 48 hour deliveries and full Federal Tax Authority TRN documentation.

Regional re export desk. Manages 20ft FCL, ISO tank and bulk vessel re exports of bitumen, LPG, gasoline and refined products in USD per metric tonne, into East and West Africa and the Indian Subcontinent.
