Erdogan Schedules Trips to UAE, Ethiopia Next Week

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to visit the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia next week, the Turkish communications chief announced on Saturday.

Burhanettin Duran said that Erdogan will meet on Monday in Abu Dhabi with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The discussions are expected to focus on ways to expand cooperation between Türkiye and the UAE, as well as on regional and global developments.

Duran added that on Tuesday, Erdogan will travel to Addis Ababa at the invitation of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali. Several agreements and documents, whose negotiations have already been completed, are expected to be signed during the visits.
